The Statesville Record and Landmark reported that a fiery Concord auto accident caused a traffic jam the other day.
A vehicle broke down on the Interstate, but the driver was unable to get the car completely off the road because of construction barriers.
He and his passenger got out of the car and ran to the side of the road as a tractor-trailer struck the car and the concrete barriers. The impact of the North Carolina auto accident caused the truck to catch on fire.
No one was injured during the North Carolina car accident, but authorities were forced to shut down both lanes of the Interstate.
