According to the Asheville Citizen-Times, Western North Carolina school districts will receive free education videos to help teens avoid North Carolina auto accidents.
The videos from AAA are aimed at spreading the word about the dangers of texting and driving, hoping to decrease the number of North Carolina auto accidents.

A 36-year-old man is dead after his motorcycle hit a car, causing an Asheville auto accident.
A 22-year-old man driving the car took off after the crash but later turned himself in, according to The Daily Reflector. He is being charged with felony hit-and-run.

Woman accused of Asheville nursing home abuse

An 80-year-old woman is dead after allegedly being pushed against a post, then a door, during an argument, according to the Citizen Times.
A 63-year-old Asheville woman is facing voluntary manslaughter charges in connection of the death of the 80-year-old.
An autopsy showed the head injuries sustained were likely the cause of her death.
